Boise Basque Block Break-in makes Story Story Night storytelling debut

More than a decade ago, I experienced a break-in at the house I rented on the Basque Block in downtown Boise.

That house became a setting in my novel, Deception at the Diamond D Ranch, and the charge emotion from waking with an intruder in my home became the emotional ethos for the book's third chapter.

On June 12, 2022, I had the chance to tell the story to a hundred-person crowd at Story Story Late Night at the Old Penitentiary in Boise. A clip is below.
